She is the height of early sixties' elegance, looking very regal in her majestic evening ensemble. The year is 1963, a time of optimism, change and sophisticated style.... and barbie is in the fashion forefront. This Limited Edition reproduces two Barbie originals: Barbie with a bubble cut and pink lips, pink fingernails and toenails, and the hard-to-find fashion, "Sophisticated Lady" (#993). The taffeta ball gown, trimmed in silver tone filigree lace, has a wide, sweeping skirt. Adding to the dramatic effect is a fully lined sleeveless coat with stand-up collar and silvery bead buttons. A silvery tiara, opera-length gloves, a simple strand of pink and white faux pearls, pink earrings and pink open toe pumps complete her royal look. Barbie is NRFB Box Condition.
